Having graduated with a degree in biomedical science, James traded his lab coat for a laptop and set about pursuing a career in writing. With a year of internships under his belt at various sports publications, he landed a freelance position covering the Premier League’s fantasy football – which, contrary to the belief of a few of his mates, had nothing to do with “wizards and sh*t”.
In his spare time, James is a bit of a music bore and enjoys combing through the archives, from hip hop to Motown to classical and beyond. He can also be found reading through his library of linguistics books, cursing at the television when his sports teams are playing and pretending to be the heir to Paul Hollywood’s throne with his novice bread-baking skills.
James is a fab addition to the team, and knows a lot about sports, and rap music...which is handy for pub quizzes.
